Entrada 417 is a 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom luxury townhome in the heart of Moab, Utah — less than one mile from downtown and ten minutes from the entrance to Arches National Park. This 2,200-square-foot corner end-unit was built in 2018 and has been personally owned and cared for ever since by someone who knows this landscape well — an owner who has spent years exploring and photographing the red rock country right outside the door. Sleeps up to 10 guests, with a two-car garage, seasonal community pool, year-round hot tub, and hundreds of five-star reviews on Airbnb and VRBO.
The details below are organized into independent categories so you can skip straight to the information that matters most to your trip—whether it's our gear storage, the kid's hideout, or specific park distances. Read it all, or just find the sections you need.
THE SPACE
Entrada 417 occupies a corner end-unit position in the Entrada at Moab community on 600 West. As a corner end-unit, it benefits from side windows that interior units don't have — the result is a main floor that stays bright and open with natural light throughout the day. The open-concept layout flows from a fully equipped kitchen through a dining area that seats eight at the table plus three at the island bar, into a spacious living room anchored by full-grain leather sofas. Red rock canyon walls are visible through the kitchen window and the dining room's sliding glass door — the kind of view most Moab hotels charge a premium for, and here it's just the backdrop to breakfast.
THE KITCHEN
The kitchen is stocked the way an owner who actually travels would stock it. Everything except the groceries is already here — a full spice rack, Keurig with a carousel of pods, drip coffee maker, aluminum foil, plastic wrap, dish towels, and sandwich bags for your park lunches. Stock the fridge when you arrive and you're ready to cook. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, baking dishes, cutting boards, plates, bowls, glasses, and everything else needed to prepare a full meal for the group — right down to the dish soap, dishwasher pods, and serving utensils. The large center island with granite countertop seats three and is usually where the group gathers in the morning before heading out for the day. The island also has an integrated USB-C charging port built into the side — the same clean, no-adapter-needed setup you'll find at every bedside in the house.
THE BEDROOMS
The master suite occupies its own wing of the upper floor with direct access to a private en suite bathroom featuring a deep jetted soaking tub — a premium upgrade selected during the original build — along with a large walk-in glass shower with porcelain tile surround and built-in bench, and a double vanity with granite countertop and dark walnut cabinetry. After a day on the Slickrock Trail or in Canyonlands, this is exactly where you want to end up.
Both sides of the king bed have outlets with integrated USB and USB-C fast-charging ports — a feature added at the owner's request during the build to solve the universal vacation rental frustration of hunting for somewhere to charge your phone without unplugging a lamp. All bedrooms have integrated USB or USB-C charging ports at the bedside — configurations vary by room but every guest has convenient charging without adapter clutter.
The second bedroom features a king bed with direct access to the shared double-vanity bathroom. The third bedroom has two twin beds — ideal for kids, but equally workable for a third pair of adults or two solo travelers who need their own space. All bedrooms have closets stocked with extra blankets, luggage racks, and hangers — the small details that are easy to overlook and immediately noticeable when they're missing.
Two rollaway twin beds are stored in the master closet and ready to use, along with a Graco Pack-n-Play for families with infants.
FOR FAMILIES WITH YOUNG KIDS
Entrada 417 has one of the most genuinely kid-dedicated spaces of any vacation rental in Moab. Tucked beneath the stairs — directly off the main living area, so parents can keep an ear out from the kitchen or sofa — is a fully converted children's hideout. The floor is covered with a city road map play rug, the kind kids drive their Matchbox cars on for hours. The wall displays a mounted Matchbox car collection. There's a wall-mounted remote control for the LED strip lighting — kids can change the colors, set them to pulse or blink, and fully customize their hideout atmosphere. Add a dedicated wall-mounted TV, bean bag seating, and a children's book library, and more than a few kids have had so much fun in this hideout that they've decided they didn't want to leave at bedtime — it has that effect on people under four feet tall.
The Pack-n-Play, highchair, and children's dinnerware mean families with infants and toddlers are fully covered.
THE GARAGE
The two-car garage is one of the most practical features of this property for the Moab traveler. Six cruiser bikes with helmets are included at no extra charge — downtown Moab is less than a mile away and easily reachable without a car. The garage also includes a floor pump, a mounted bike repair stand with basic tools for guests bringing their own bikes, a cornhole set, and a Gorilla Cart for hauling gear. For guests arriving with high-value Jeeps, off-road vehicles, or mountain bikes, secure covered parking is available right at your front door. Motion-sensing lights activate automatically inside the garage so you're never fumbling in the dark.
LAUNDRY & CONNECTIVITY
A full-size GE front-loading washer and dryer are located on the upper floor — not a stacked combo, not a shared facility. Laundry detergent and an ironing board are provided. For families and adventure travelers spending multiple days on dusty trails, this is one of those amenities that goes from convenient to essential by day three.
For those who need to stay connected between adventures, there's a dedicated workspace — a quiet desk tucked into the upper landing with a task lamp and a fiber internet connection running at 300-400 Mbps. Fast enough to run video calls or upload trail footage while the rest of the group streams movies in the other rooms.
OUTDOOR SPACES
The private fenced back patio — accessible directly from the dining room through a sliding glass door — features a gas grill and a round glass dining table with seating for four. Red rock formations are visible above the fence line. The exterior lights come on automatically at sundown and stay on until 11pm — if you're coming back late from dinner or a night hike, the property is lit and welcoming when you arrive.
A second outdoor seating area at the end of the upstairs hallway faces the La Sal Mountains and is one of the quieter pleasures this property offers. In the early morning, before Moab wakes up, this is where you bring your coffee and watch the sunrise paint the La Sals in light. The air is still, the town is quiet, and the mountains do exactly what mountains do at dawn. It's a small thing that guests consistently mention — and once you've done it, you'll understand why.
The seasonal community pool and year-round hot tub are just steps from the property. The pool is full-size with a shaded pergola area and lounge seating on the deck, and the hot tub operates year-round — a particular favorite after cold-weather hikes in Arches.
THE LOCATION
Entrada 417 is located at 417 N 600 West, Moab, Utah — within the Entrada at Moab community. Downtown Moab's restaurants, grocery store, gear shops, and Main Street are less than one mile away and reachable on the included cruiser bikes. Entrada 417 sits in the northern part of Moab — closer to Arches than most vacation rentals in the area, many of which are located south of downtown. That distinction matters when you're planning early morning hikes before the crowds arrive.

THE OWNER
Entrada 417 is privately owned and locally managed by Moab Utah Properties, a boutique property management company based right here in Moab. Led by Kali Biscoe, a Moab native who grew up here and spent years running the Gonzo Inn, the team is reachable by phone and on the ground when you need them. If something comes up during your stay — and occasionally something does — you're calling a local number and getting a local response, not navigating a corporate call center from across the country.
The owner has spent years exploring and photographing Moab's landscapes and dark skies. The large-format Milky Way photograph on the staircase landing — shot at 3am below Moki Dugway, six exposures stitched together — is original work. A reminder of what the sky looks like out here when most people are asleep.
When these units were built in 2018, the owner regularly visited the job site — not to swing a hammer, but paying the kind of attention that only someone who actually stays in vacation rentals would pay. The four-outlet charging stations positioned at bedside height, the TV outlets placed behind the sets so no wires hang visible, the USB-C ports within reach from every bed — these came from conversations with the electricians on site, not from a builder's standard spec sheet.
